Submission Guidelines:

We publish any fiction, non-fiction, and poetry that excites our readers and bends genres into new, weird ideas. We also welcome experimental/hybrid works. Our submission period for Issue #1 is currently open for:

• Fiction/Flash Fiction

• Non-Fiction​​

General Guidelines:

• We only accept work submitted through our google form (to avoid giving us a formatting headache, please use only PDF or Word files).

• We will not be considering any previously published work. 

• Also, no work from AI, it scares us.

• For fiction and nonfiction, we are only accepting pieces that are 4,500 words or less.

• As for flash fiction, you can submit up to three pieces, with a limit of 1,000 words for each.

• Multiple submissions to us and simultaneous submissions to other journals are accepted and very much encouraged. Just make sure to let us know if you get accepted somewhere else by emailing: covertocoverpress@gmail.com

• We are accepting works from both outside and university sources. We will be reviewing these works with a stirct, blinded process in which the affiliation and names of authors will not be known to our readers and editors to avoid potential biases.

• To avoid legal issues (we really don’t want to get sued), we will not accept any pieces that contain any lyrics or prose from copyrighted works.
